About the Tyler Kane Memorial Golf Classic

On May 3, 2024, Tyler Kane’s sudden passing left an unimaginable void in the lives of those who loved him most—his family and friends. Tyler was an active and generally healthy 38-year-old, yet this untimely loss shed light on a critical gap in heart health awareness and prevention, as he was just two years shy of the standard cardiac testing that may have saved his life.

The Tyler Kane Memorial Golf Classic was created to honor Tyler’s legacy by supporting his wife, Jen, and their daughters, Kaia and Olivia, while raising awareness about heart health and early cardiac screening.

As a lifelong competitor and lover of golf, this tournament is a fitting tribute, organized by Tyler’s childhood friends—who, unsurprisingly, share his passion for the sport. More than a game, this event is a reflection of the way Tyler lived: with authenticity, dedication, and an unwavering love for his family and friends. Our hope is for his love of the game of golf to shine through every drive, putt, chip, and even the occasional mulligan.

In his honor, we aim to increase awareness about heart healthAtherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease (ASCVD), and sudden cardiac death prevention in adults under 40. Also, we strive to provide information that can help individuals learn how and when to advocate for early cardiac screening.

This event is organized by Tyler’s childhood friends Grant Crispino, Alex Brilla, and Alex’s wife, Sarah, in full partnership with Tyler’s wife, Jen Kane.
